Benefits and awards
The RAL certification ensures the level of quality of your new windows, well in excess of the statutory CE mark requirements covering component quality, consistency, serviceability and service life. Out of the thousands of timber-aluminium window manufacturers in Germany, only 17 are RAL certified - of which Richard Martin are one.
Statistics show that in Germany there is a burglary every 3.5 minutes - 80% of attempted forced entries are achieved through terrace doors and windows. It is easy to prevent this. For more than 35 years we have been producing certified anti-burglar windows and entrance doors. To ensure safety and affordability go hand in hand we have developed four safety levels, tailor-made for every single application.
Details and particulars
Only the separate treatment of every single frame component in the flow-tunnel gives true protection against moisture.
500, 600, 700 kg /m³ - 3 layer construction utilising these high-density timbers ensures long-lasting secure functionality of your windows.
The attractive aluminium exterior is sized to be an exact match for your windows. The corners are then welded, polished and powder-coated. This process offers true overall exterior protection, a beautiful exterior finish and is the only professional way to manufacture timber-aluminium windows.
Glossy, matt or with a metallic finish - for the exterior aluminum surface you have a choice of 68 standard colors, coupled with different surface structures and gloss grades. Your Richard Martin partner can show you samples from the range and advise you of our 10 and 30 year finish guarantees.
Timber is a living material - aluminium less so. The connection between the two materials requires good airflow and expansion room - without the danger of trapping moisture. Richard Martin windows utilise rotating fixtures on the timber frame to locate the aluminium cladding but provide free air-flow and expansion room.
You´ll marvel at what your new windows are capable of. When shut, you can´t even see the sophisticated technology inside the window: not even the hinges are visible on the room side. Everything is perfectly integrated and neatly packaged with no openings on display.
Timber types and colours
The choice of timber is more than a question of taste. What features should your windows offer? Burglar-proof windows require an especially strong timber with a high raw density. The best thermal efficiency is derived from lighter softwoods. Timber selection also plays a vital part in your chosen finish effect and colour - alongside our standard RAL solid colours.
